6-(2,6-Dichloro-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-3-[(E)-2-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)vinyl]-1-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]pyridine was dissolved in methanol (0.8 mL). To the solution was added HCl solution previously prepared from acetyl chloride (0.5 mL) and methanol (0.5 mL). The mixture was stirred at r.t. for 2 h. The solvent was removed. The residue was dissolved in methanol, and purified by RP-HPLC (pH=10) to afford the desired product (4.9 mg). LCMS (M+H)+=430.1.
