tert-Butyl 4-(4-((4-(2-(2-methoxy-2-oxoethyl)-4-(trifluoromethyl)phenethyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidin-2-yl)amino)phenyl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (A107) (0.157 g, 0.236 mmol) and LiOH.H2O (0.080 g, 0.711 mmol) were suspended in MeOH (2 mL), water (2 mL) and THF (2 mL) and the resulting mixture stirred for 16 hours at room temperature. The volatiles were evaporated under reduced pressure to give the title compound A108; LCMS-A: rt 6.828 min; m/z 653.3 [M+H]+.
