TFA (2 mL) was added to a solution of tert-butyl 4-(4-((4-(2-(2-amino-2-oxoethyl)phenethyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidin-2-yl)amino)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (A137) (171 mg, 0.298 mmol) in DCM (25 mL) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The volatiles were removed in vacuo and the resultant solid was dissolved in CHCl3 (1 mL). Cyclohexane (25 mL) was added and the resultant precipitate was removed by filtration, washed with cyclohexane (25 mL) and air dried to yield the title compound as a white solid (101 mg, 72%). LCMS-A: rt 4.717 min; m/z 474.2 [M+H]+.
