2-(Methylsulfonyl)-N-{2-[4-({3-methyl-4-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]phenyl}amino)-5H-pyrrolo[3,2-d]pyrimidin-5-yl]ethyl}acetamide (680 mg) was dissolved in ethyl acetate (3.4 mL), methanesulfonic acid (0.0887 mL) was added at 50° C., and the mixture was stirred for 10 min. and further stirred at room temperature for 2 hrs. The precipitated crystals were collected by filtration and washed with diisopropyl ether to give the title compound (797 mg) as colorless crystals.
