Trifluoroacetic acid (10 mL) was added to tert-butyl 4-{4-[(5-{2-[2-(benzoyloxy)ethoxy]ethyl}-5H-pyrrolo[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4-yl)amino]-2-chlorophenoxy}benzoate (1.26 g), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hrs. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure, 4N hydrochloric acid/ethyl acetate solution was added, and the mixture was concentrated again under reduced pressure. The obtained residue was crystallized from ethyl acetate to give the title compound (1.16 g) as a white powder.
