A mixed solution of N-(3-(4-isopropenyl-3-methoxyphenyl)-4,6,7-trimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-5-yl)-3,3-dimethylbutanamide (1.93 g, 4.58 mmol) obtained in Example 184 and 10% palladium on carbon (water content: 50%, 193 mg) in ethanol (10 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours under a hydrogen atmosphere. The catalyst was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated to give 1.80 g (yield: 93%) of the title compound. Melting point: 170-171° C. (ethyl acetate-hexane).
