To the mixture of 7-bromo-6-(4-methoxybenzyl)-3-methyl-9-pentyl-6,9-dihydro-5h-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-a]purin-5-one (100 mg, 0.22 mmol), 2-(tributylstannyl)-1,3-thiazole (122 mg, 0.33 mmol) in toluene (14 mL) was added tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) (12.6 mg, 0.011 mmol) under N2. The mixture was refluxed overnight. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo. The crude residue was purified using preparative LCMS to yield the desired product (80 mg, 79%). LCMS calculated for C23H26N7O2S (M+H): 464.2; found 464.2.
