Procedure
37 mg of N-methylhydroxylamine are added to 150 mg (0.65 mmol) of N,N-dimethyl-3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1-benzoxepin-7-carboxamide, prepared according to example 53, in solution in 1 ml of methanol, and the medium is stirred at ambient temperature for 2 hours. After evaporating the methanol, followed by the conventional treatments, the crude product is purified to provide 65 mg (38%) of 3-(methoxyimino)-N,N-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1-benzoxepin-7-carboxamide, as an equimolecular mixture of the E and Z isomers, in the form of a yellow oil:mass (APCI) M+1:261
