Reaction Steps
To 21 mg (0.07 mmol) of compound 111 dissolved in 2 mL of THF and 1 mL of water was added, portionwise and alternating, a solution of 112 μL of 5 N NaOH (aqueous) in 1 mL of water followed by a solution of 28 mg (0.10 mmol) of triphosgene in 1 mL of THF. The reaction was acidified with 1N HCl and the volatiles were removed until a solid precipitate formed and a clear solution. The solid was collected by vacuum filtration to provide 21 mg of compound 113.
