Reaction Steps
To 10 mg (0.03 mmol) of compound 115 dissolved in 2 mL of THF and 1 mL of water was added, portionwise and alternating, a solution of 40 μL of 5 N NaOH (aqueous) in 0.2 mL of water followed by a solution of 4 mg (0.02 mmol) of triphosgene in 0.2 mL of THF. The reaction was acidified with 1N HCl and the volatiles were removed in vacuo. The solid was collected by vacuum filtration to provide 9 mg of compound 116.
