Procedure
The title compound was prepared from 5-bromo-1-[4-(tert-butyl)benzyl]-1H-indole (Step 1 of Example 34) and 4-(tert-butyl)phenylboronic acid in substantially the same manner, as described in Step 2 of Example 25. The product was obtained as an off-white solid, mp: 167-168° C. Mass spectrum (ESI, [M+H]+) m/z 396. 1 HNMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 7.77 (d, 1H, J=1.38 Hz), 7.55 (d, 2H, J=8.56 Hz), 7.52-7.51 (m, 2H), 7.43 (d, 1H, J=8.40 Hz), 7.36 (d, 1H, J=8.55 Hz), 7.31 (d, 2H, J=8.40 Hz), 7.14 (d, 2H, J=8.40 Hz), 6.51 (d, 1H, J=3.05 Hz), 5.38 (s, 2H), 1.30 (s, 9H), and 1.21 ppm (s, 9H).
