A solution of 50 mg N1-(3-aminopropyl)-4-{6-[3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-trityl-1H-4-pyrazolyl]imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl}benzamide obtained in Example 43 in a solvent mixture of 1.5 mL tetrahydrofuran, 1.5 mL methanol and 1.5 mL of 5 N hydrochloric acid was left at room temperature for 1 hour. The mixture was washed with ethyl acetate, and the aqueous layer was basified with 5N aqueous sodium hydroxide. Water was added thereto, and the formed solid was collected and recrystallized from ethanol/diethyl ether to give 15 mg of the title compound as colorless crystals.
