Reaction Steps

314 mg 5-{6-[3-(4-fluorophenyl)-1-trityl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl]quinazolin-4-yl}thiophen-2-sulfonic acid methylamide (compound in Example 745) was dissolved in 8 mL N,N-dimethylformamide, then 21 mg sodium hydride was added thereto and stirred for 20 minutes, and 0.35 mL 1,2-dichloroethane was added thereto and stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. Further, 0.35 mL 1,2-dichloroethane was added thereto and stirred at 60° C. for 24 hours. Water was added to the reaction solution which was then extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with water and brine and dried over sodium sulfate. The solvent was evaporated, and then the residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (hexane/ethyl acetate) to give 325 mg of the title compound as a colorless amorphous.
