Isoamyl nitrite (1.08 ml) was added to a solution of the product of step b) (2.20 g) in acetonitrile (100 ml) and the solution heated at 70° C. for 1 hour. The cooled reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue purified by chromatography (SiO2, ethyl acetate:isohexane 1:2 as eluant) to afford the subtitle compound (1.79 g).
