Compound 148 (0.18 g, 0.71 mmol) was dissolved in dry pyridine (0.9 mL) and 2,2,2-trifluoroethanesulfonyl chloride (0.12 mL, 1.1 mmol) was added. The solution was stirred at room temperature for 1 h after which it was concentrated in vacuo. The oil was diluted with H2O and the water phase was extracted three times with EtOAc. The combined organic phases were washed with 10% aqueous NaHCO3, dried (MgSO4), filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The crude product was purified by flash chromatography using EtOAc/petroleum ether 1:2 as the eluent to afford the title compound as a yellow oil.
