Compound 175 (0.04 g, 0.075 mmol) was dissolved in dry CH2Cl2 (0.5 mL) under an argon atmosphere. Trimethylsilyl bromide (0.1 mL, 0.75 mmol) was added and the solution was kept at room temperature for 45 h. The solution was concentrated in vacuo and then co-concentrated with MeOH three times. This afforded the title compound as an orange oil.
