Reaction Steps

Compound 441 (3.21 g, 6.32 mmol) and TBAF.3H2O (2.99 g, 6.32 mmol) were dissolved in THF (20 ml). The obtained reaction solution was stirred at RT for 0.5 h. After reaction the solution was concentrated in vacuo. The residue was redissolved in CH2Cl2 and washed with H2O. The aqueous phase was extracted twice with CH2Cl2. The combined organic phases were dried over MgSO4 and concentrated in vacuo. The crude product was purified by chromatography (petroleum ether/ethyl acetate 2:1) to give the title compound as reddish foam.
