Reaction Steps

To a mixture of ethyl 2-(1,6-dihydroxy-4-methyl-1,3-dihydrobenzo[c][1,2]oxaborol-3-yl)acetate (0.5 g, 2 mmol) and cesium carbonate (1.95 g, 6 mmol) in 10 ml DMF was added (3-bromopropoxy)(tert-butyl)dimethylsilane (1.39 ml, 6 mmol). The reaction was heated at 60° C. for six hours. It was then quenched by water, extracted with EtOAc, washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The crude was purified by column.
