10 mL of SOCl2 and 40 mL of methanol were thoroughly mixed in an ice bath for 30 minutes, followed by mixing with 0.51 g of p-nitrophenylalanine to obtain a reaction solution. The reaction solution was subjected to reflux reaction at 70° C. for 24 hours, followed by evaporating, re-crystallizing in ether, and filtering to obtain a product of 0.53 g (97.0%) of a white solid of NBPDA.
