The title compound was prepared according to the general procedure of 3-[1-(ethylsulfonyl)-4-piperidinyl]-5-(5-{[[(1S)-2-hydroxy-1-methylethyl](methyl)amino]methyl}-3-thienyl)-1H-indole-7-carboxamide trifluoroacetate (salt), substituting N-(2-aminoethyl)acetamide (1.20 mmol) for (2R)-2-amino-1-propanol to afford 13.6 mg of the title compound (30.8%)
