Reaction Steps
In a manner similar to the method described in Examples 1e, rac-(2R,3S,4R,5S)-3-(3-chloro-2-fluoro-phenyl)-4-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-phenyl)-4-cyano-5-(2,2-dimethyl-propyl)-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid (0.2 g, 0.43 mmol) was reacted with 4-aminobenzotrifluoride (Alfa) (0.14 g, 0.86 mmol), HATU (0.29 g, 0.77 mmol) and iPr2NEt (0.15 mL, 0.86 mmol) in CH2Cl2 at room temperature to give rac-(2R,3S,4R,5S)-3-(3-chloro-2-fluoro-phenyl)-4-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-phenyl)-4-cyano-5-(2,2-dimethyl-propyl)-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid (4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-amide as a white solid (38 mg, 15%).
