(S)-2-(4-(dimethylamino)-4-phenylcyclohexylamino)-3-(1H-indol-3-yl)-N-methylpropanamide (480 mg, 1.15 mmol, non-polar diastereomer from step 3) was dissolved in ethyl methyl ketone (50 ml) and mixed with Me3SiCl (0.39 ml, 2.8 mmol). The solid was aspirated after 1 h.
