Reaction Steps
In a mixed solvent comprising 2 ml of ethyl acetate and 1 ml of chloroform was dissolved 132.5 mg of 4-[(S)-3-[(R)-1-(naphthalen-1-yl)ethylamino]pyrrolidin-1-yl]phenylethylsulfone, 0.8 ml of a solution of 4N hydrogen chloride in dioxane was added thereto, and the precipitated solids were filtered and dried. This was recrystallized from ethanol to obtain 40.0 mg of 4-[(S)-3-[(R)-1-(naphthalen-1-yl)ethylamino]pyrrolidin-1-yl]phenylethylsulfone hydrochloride (the following Table X, Example 12.017).
