Reaction Steps
Methanesulfonyl chloride (8 μL, 0.10 mmol) was added to a solution of N-({(5S)-3-[4-(3-azido-4-hydroxypyrrolidin-1-yl)-3-fluorophenyl]-2-oxo-1,3-oxazolidin-5-yl}methyl)acetamide (30 mg, 0.08 mmol) and triethylamine (16 μL, 0.12 mmol) in dichloromethane (0.5 mL) at 0° C. After 1 h, the solution was diluted with more dichloromethane, washed with dilute NaHCO3, brine and dried (MgSO4), filtered and concentrated to give the title compound as an oil. This material was used directly in the next reaction.
