Procedure

The product of Example 42A (28.2 g 0.088 mol) in ethanol (400 mL) was treated with 10% palladium on carbon (2 g) and the mixture was stirred under H2 at 50° C. for 4 hours. The catalyst was removed by filtration and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to provide the title compound (18.0 g, 89%). MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 231 (M+H)+.
