A mixture of [4-(benzyloxy)phenyl][1-cyclopentyl-7-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-indazol-3-yl]methanone (0.13 g, 0.28 mmol) and 10% palladium on carbon(0.10 g) in 10 mL ethanol/cyclohexene (3:1, v/v) was heated at 70° C. for 0.5 hours. The catalyst was filtered (celite) and the filtrate concentrated in vacuo to give crude product. The residue was crystallized from Et2O/hexane to give 0.085 g of product as a white solid (mp 225-226° C.).
