Reaction Steps
A mixture of the tetrahydropyridine from Example 41 (0.018 g, 0.029 mmol), palladium on carbon (0.01 g) and ethyl acetate (2 mL) was stirred under 1 atmosphere of hydrogen for 16 hours. The catalyst was removed by filtration through a glass fibre pad and the solvent removed in vacuo to give the title compound (0.018 g, quant.).
