Following the procedure for the preparation of N-[(cis)-1-acetyl-4-ethoxypyrrolidin-3-yl]-5-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-3,6-diethylpyrazin-2-amine but substituting propionyl chloride and making non-critical variations provided the title compound as an oil: 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO) δ) 7.71, 7.50, 7.41, 6.00, 5.98, 4.68, 4.52, 4.22, 4.11, 3.85–3.39, 2.68, 2.37, 2.25, 1.24–0.85; HRMS (FAB) calcd for C23H30Cl2N4O2+H 465.1824, found 465.1825.
