22.11 g (0.12 mol) of N-bromosuccinimide were added at 60° C. to a mixture of 40.0 g (0.12 mol) of 4-(1-bromo-1,1,2,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propyl)aniline from Example 6 and 125 ml of acetonitrile, and the resulting mixture was heated to reflux for 3 hours. Subsequently, the solvent was for the most part distilled off, the residue was washed with 100 ml of 1N NaOH solution, the organic phase was dried over sodium sulphate and finally the remaining solvent was removed under reduced pressure.
