This material was prepared by reacting [2-(7-chlorothieno[3,2-b]pyridin-2-yl)-1,3-thiazol-4-yl]methanol (124 mg, 0.5 mmole) with 6-hydroxy-2-methylbenzo[b]thiophene-3-carboxylic acid cyclopropylamide 8c (113 mg, 0.4 mmole) and Cs2CO3 (391 mg, 1.2 mmole) in a manner similar to that previously described for example 1 to give a yellow solid (86 mg, 44%). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 300 MHz) δ 8.56 (1H, d, J=5.4 Hz), 8.46 (1H, d, J=4.3 Hz), 8.17 (1H, s), 7.96 (1H, d, J=2.2 Hz), 7.81 (1H, d, J=8.8 Hz), 7.63 (1H, s), 7.34 (1H, dd, J=2.2, 8.8 Hz), 6.75 (1H, d, J=5.4 Hz), 4.60 (2H, d, J=4.9 Hz), 2.96–2.85 (1H, m), 2.57 (3H, s), 0.78–0.67 (2H, m), 0.62–0.53 (2H, m).
