8-[2-(4-Cyclobutyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)ethyl]-2-morpholino-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-3-carbaldehyde (100 mg, 0.236 mmol) dissolved in toluene (2 ml) was added with (carbethoxyethylidene)triphenylphosphorane (102 mg, 0.283 mmol) and refluxed by heating at 130° C. Then the regent was added until the reaction was completed, and 7 equivalents of the regent was finally added. After the reaction mixture was stirred for 4 days, the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the resulting residue was purified by thin layer silica gel chromatography (chloroform:methanol=40:1) to obtain 443 mg of yellow crystals in a mixture with triphenylphosphine oxide.
