The tert-butyl (E)-3-{2-(tert-butoxycarbonylmethylthio)-8-[2-(4-isopropyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)ethyl]-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-3-yl}-2-propenoate (19 mg) obtained in (B) was dissolved in methylene chloride (2 ml), added with triethylsilane (0.5 ml) and trifluoroacetic acid (0.5 ml), and then the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 5 hours. After the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, the residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to obtain the title compound (4 mg) as yellow powder.
