The tert-butyl (E )-3-{7-fluoro-2-(3-hydroxypiperidino)-8-[2-(4-isopropyl-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)ethyl]-4-oxo-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-3-yl}-2-propenoate (43.6 mg, 0.0803 mmol) obtained in (M) was dissolved in 4 N hydrochloric acid/dioxane (3 ml) and stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The reaction mixture was concentrated and the resulting residue was purified by preparative TLC (chloroform:methanol=10:1) to obtain the title compound (35.6 mg, 91%) as lyophilized product.
