The title compound was prepared by reacting of 1-[3,6-Dimethyl-2-(2,4,6-trimethyl-phenoxy)-pyridin-4-yl]-propan-1-ol with sodium hydride, followed by quenching with butyl iodide. 1H NMR(CDCl3) d 6.86(s,2H), 6.76(s,1H), 4.37(m,1H), 3.35(m,1H), 3.25(m,1H), 2.28(s,3H), 2.26(s,3H), 2.20(s,3H), 2.03(s,6H), 1.6–1.8(m,2H), 1.5–1.65(m,2H), 1.3–1.5(m,2H), 0.96(t,3H), 0.89(t,3H) ppm.
