Procedure

When an equivalent amount of 1,3-bis(n-dodecylthio)-2-propanol was substituted for 1-n-hexadecyloxy-3-n-dodecylthio-2-propanol and an equivalent amount of methyl 3-(2,3-dimethyl-5-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate substituted for methyl 3-(3-methyl-5-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate in Example 1, the above-named ester was obtained as a viscous oil.
