Procedure

The product of Step 8 (96 mg, 0.094 mmol) was stirred overnight in HOAc (3 mL) and H2O (0.3 mL). The solvent was removed under vacuum and the residue was co-evaporated with toluene/acetone (3×) to give a tan coloured foam (85 mg).
