To a solution of 1-8 (0.1847 mmol) in EtOH (2 mL) was added 1N NaOH (0.250 ml, 0.250 mmol). After stirring for 2 h, the solvents were evaporated and the residue was chromatographed (silica gel, 15:10:1:1 ethyl acetate/EtOH/water/NH4OH) to give 1-9 as a white solid.
