Reaction Steps
A mixture of acid 9-3 (235 mg, 0.6056 mmol), amine 9-1 (150 mg, 0.6056 mmol), BOP (350 mg, 0.7873 mmol) and NMM (0.333 mL, 3.03 mmol) in CH3CN (5 mL) was stirred for 20 h. The mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate, washed with 10% K2CO3, brine, and dried over MgSO4. Evaporative removal of the solvent gave 9-4 as a brown oil.
