Procedure

To a solution of the compound obtained in the step of Example 1 (3) (675 mg) in a mixture of tetrahydrofuran/dioxane (5:1, 120 ml), a IN aqueous potassium hydroxide solution (5 ml) was added and the mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 15 hours. The reaction solution was then poured into water, extracted with ethyl acetate, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain 431 mg (98%) of the desired product as a brown powder.
