A mixture of 2-(5,6-dihydro-2H-4-pyranyl)-1-(4-fluorobenzyl)-5-methanesulfonyl-indole (83 mg), 10% palladium carbon (15 mg) and ethanol (5 ml) was stirred at 15 to 30° C. for 24 hours under hydrogen atmosphere. The mixture was filtered and the mother liquid was concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was subjected to silica gel column chromatography (hexane:ethyl acetate=2:1) to obtain 40 mg of the desired product as a white crystal.
