Thiourea (495 mg) was added to a solution of 1-(2-chloromethylcyclohex-1-enyl)-3-nitrobenzene obtained in Preparation Example 4-(3) (1.56 g) in ethanol (71.6 mL), and the mixture was stirred with heating under reflux for four hours. The reaction solution was cooled to room temperature and then the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residual solid was washed with ether to obtain the title compound (2.04 g).
