Reaction Steps
To a solution of compound 14 (202 mg, 0.5 mmol) in DMF (20 mL) were added Cs2CO3 (325 mg, 1 mmol) and methyl 4-bromobutanoate (99 mg, 0.55 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred for 4 h at 40° C., then water (30 mL) was added and the reaction mixture was extracted with EA (150 mL). The organic layer was washed with brine and dried over Na2SO4, concentrated and purified by CC (hexane/EA=3/1) to give compound 15 (176 mg, 70%).
