The title compound was prepared as a white solid according to the procedure of Example 20, except substituting 4-bromo-2-thiophenecarboxylic acid (83 mg, 0.4 mmol) for 4,5-dibromo-2-thiophenecarboxylic acid and substituting 1,1-dimethylethyl[(2R)-2-amino-2-phenylethyl]carbamate (94 mg, 0.4 mmol) [prepared according to the procedure of Preparation 1] for 1,1-dimethylethyl (3-amino-4-phenylbutyl)carbamate: LC-MS (ES) m/z=327 (M+H)+, 1H NMR (CD3OD, 400 MHz) δ ppm 3.44 (d, J=4.29 Hz, 1H) 3.63 (br. s., 1H) 4.18 (s, 3H) 5.47 (dd, J=10.36, 4.55 Hz, 1H) 6.88 (d, J=2.78 Hz, 1H) 7.38 (d, J=7.07 Hz, 1H) 7.44 (t, J=7.33 Hz, 2H) 7.55 (d, J=7.83 Hz, 2H) 8.08 (d, J=2.53 Hz, 1H) 8.18 (d, J=1.26 Hz, 1H) 8.42 (d, J=1.26 Hz, 1H).
