The title compound was prepared in two steps in an analogous fashion to that described for 3-methyl-2-(5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-yl)-2,8-diazaspiro[4.5]decan-1-one (I-22), except starting from 4-methyl-5-oxo-2,5-dihydrofuran-3-yl trifluoromethanesulfonate (I-9). LC-MS (IE, m/z): 265 (M+1)+.
