A solution of tert-butyl (1R,2S)-1-(1-(fluoromethyl)cyclopropylsulfonylcarbamoyl)-2-vinylcyclopropylcarbamate (11.5 g, 31.7 mmol) in 4 N HCl in dioxane (100 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 1 h. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure and the residue was washed with diethyl ether to get crude compound (6 g, 72%). The crude compound was taken to the next step without further purification. MS: MS m/z 263.14 (M++1)
