Following General Procedure B, 9-brom-8-methoxy-6-methylthieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one (150 mg, 0.46 mmol) was reacted with tert-butyl 2-(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenyl)butylcarbamate (240 mg, 0.64 mmol) to afford the desired product (75 mg, 33%) as a light brown solid: ESI MS m/z 493 [C28H12N2O4S+H]+.
