Reaction Steps
Following General Procedure B, 9-bromo-8-methoxythieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one (2.4 g, 7.6 mmol) was reacted with tert-butyl methyl(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenethyl)carbamate (4.2 g, 11 mmol) to afford the desired product (2.1 g, 40%) as a light brown solid: ESI MS m/z 465 [C26H28N2O4S+H]+.
