Following General Procedure B, 9-bromo-8-methoxy-6-methylthieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one) (500 mg, 1.54 mmol) was reacted with tert-butyl 3-methyl-2-(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenyl)butylcarbamate (590 mg, 1.9 mmol) to afford the desired product (120 mg, 15%) as a yellow solid: ESI MS m/z 507 [C29H34N2O4S+H]+.
