Following General Procedure B, 9-bromo-8-methoxythieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one (600 mg, 1.9 mmol) was reacted with tert-butyl 1-(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenyl)ethylcarbamate (1.34 g, 3.87 mmol) to afford the desired product (340 mg, 39%) as a brown solid: ESI MS m/z 451 [C25H26N2O4S+H]+.
