Following General Procedure B, 9-bromo-8-methoxythieno[2,3-c]quinolin-4(5H)-one (700 mg, 2.3 mmol) was reacted with (R)-tert-butyl methyl(2-(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenyl)propyl)carbamate (1.3 g, 3.4 mmol) to afford the desired product (383 mg, 38%) as a yellow solid: ESI MS m/z 479 [C27H30N2O4S+H]+.
